Financial Controller - 12 Month Contract

FourQuarters are partnering with a global organisation seeking an accomplished Financial Controller to oversee financial operations across Australia & New Zealand.
This critical role will play a key part in ensuring accurate reporting, seamless group consolidations, and compliance across multiple entities and jurisdictions. Working closely with Senior leadership, you'll act as a trusted advisor while driving improvements in processes, systems, and controls.
This is a 12-month contract with an immediate start, ideal for a finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment and enjoys collaborating across international teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead financial operations and ensure compliance and accurate reporting across Australia & New Zealand.
* Deliver timely month-end close, group consolidations, and statutory accounts.
* Oversee all tax obligations including BAS, GST, payroll tax, and corporate tax.
* Produce insightful management reports, forecasts, and variance analysis.
* Manage audit processes and act as the key contact for external auditors.
* Optimise ERP system usage and drive process improvements.
* Partner with regional and group finance teams to ensure alignment and consistency.
About You:
* CPA or CA qualified, with 7+ years' experience in financial control and group reporting.
* Deep understanding of AIFRS and tax regulations across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.
* Demonstrated expertise in managing multi-entity, multi-currency consolidations.
* Highly proficient in ERP systems.
* Excellent communication skills with proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders across regions.
* Proactive & detail-focused, with a track record of delivering to tight deadlines.
