Student Housing Support Specialist
The University of Wollongong Student Residence is seeking an experienced professional to provide support services to students.
The ideal candidate will possess both local real estate/property management experience and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
The role involves working closely with students to offer advice and support on private accommodation options, helping them navigate the rental market and ensuring a smooth transition into their new home.
This position also requires managing the UOW Study Stays platform, which connects students with prospective landlords who have rooms or properties available.
The Student Housing Support Coordinator will work in collaboration with the Student Support and Wellbeing teams, coordinating emergency housing for students referred by UOW Support Services, and assisting in managing the UOW Airport Pickup service.
To be successful in this role, you will need to build relationships with local agents and accommodation providers, establishing a network of referrals to support the position's requirements.
The ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage competing demands is essential in this fast-paced environment.
