The Role
Toll People are seeking motivated and experienced Forklift Operators for a new client in Kemps Creek. Roles will commence in January, and we are recruiting for two separate positions:
* Counterbalance Forklift Operators
* High Reach Forklift Operators
Weekday casual shifts are available:
Shift Times
* 6:00am - 2:00pm ($37.32 per hour)
* 2:00pm - 10:00pm ($41.80 per hour)
Key Responsibilities
* Operating either a Counterbalance or High Reach forklift (depending on position)
* Loading and unloading trucks/vans
* Put-away, replenishment and retrieval of stock
* Manual handling, sorting freight and picking orders
* Using RF scanners
* General warehousing and housekeeping duties
* Ensuring safety and compliance at all times
Skills & Experience
* Valid forklift licence with proven experience in Counterbalance, High Reach, or both
* High Reach experience up to 7-8 bays high (for High Reach role)
* Strong knowledge of warehouse operations
* Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
* High attention to detail and good numeracy skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Willingness to undertake manual handling and ground-level tasks as required
