The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an Apprentice Panel Beater to join Western Truck Repairs' team.
As an Apprentice Panel Beater, you will learn skills and techniques to produce high-quality finishes on heavy vehicles under experienced guidance.
Role Responsibilities
* Repairing and replacing damaged bodywork on trucks, buses, and trailers using welding and cutting techniques and specialised equipment.
* Disassembling vehicles.
* Labelling parts and storing them accordingly.
* Checking new parts for accuracy and damage.
* Reassembling vehicles according to Job Sheets.
Expectations
* Following all safety policies and procedures while wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
* Handling company tools and equipment with care, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and functional.
* Completing course theory work by required due dates.
