Cooks/chefs required in a full time position for the Union Hotel, Colac, in regional Victoria.
The Union Hotel is reopening in October 2025 after a full renovation that includes a brand-new kitchen with up-to-date equipment, refreshed bar and bistro spaces, and vibrant outdoor entertainment areas. We are seeking motivated and creative Chefs and Cooks to join our team and help shape the dining experience at this exciting current venue.
The kitchen team will be responsible for delivering high-quality, seasonal dishes with a focus on shared menus that showcase regional produce and contemporary hospitality. You will play a central role in assisting kitchen operations, collaborating with the team to design menus, and ensuring excellence in food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver menus that highlight shared dining, fresh produce, and regional flair.
Lead day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.

Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organization.
Train, motivate, and support kitchen staff in a positive team environment.
Manage stock, ordering, and cost controls effectively.
