**The Opportunity**
You will be joining a recently established and high-profile Royal Commission. As the Communications Manager you will support external communications activities to promote updates on the progress and status of the Royal Commission, including media, social media, website management and other written tasks.
Engagements will be considered based on experience but may be offered for up to 12 months in total.
The position is based in Brisbane, and you must be prepared to travel to Brisbane City.
**Key duties will include**:
- Contribute to social media strategy, monitoring and content production
- Website management including regular updates
- Media management including pitching stories, speechwriting and other executive communications
**Skills and Experience required**:
Previous experience at the APS6 or EL1 level in the APS or state government will be highly regarded, as will an understanding or experience working within a Royal Commission.
Private sector communications and/or media experience will be considered.
It may be a requirement to obtain a security clearance for this position and therefore to be considered for this position you must be an Australian Citizen.
