Archer IRM Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Senior Software Engineer Contract Contract: 12 months possible extensions Clearance: Baseline or NV1 Location: ACT, VIC, SA (hybrid/onsite as required) About the Role We are seeking experienced Archer IRM Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support and enhance an existing Archer IRM platform within a large, complex government environment. This role focuses on configuration, enhancement, integration, and ongoing support of Archer IRM solutions, with opportunities to design and build new capabilities while ensuring platform stability, security alignment, and performance. You will work within an Agile delivery team, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, security specialists, and technical teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes across each sprint. Key Responsibilities Configure and enhance Archer IRM solutions to meet business and security requirements Design and develop new Archer capabilities and enhance existing use cases Perform patching, maintenance, defect remediation and platform uplift Elicit, refine, and document requirements as user stories Prepare functional solution design documentation to support sprint delivery Configure and maintain Archer integrations with upstream and downstream systems (including REST APIs) Define and maintain Advanced Workflows, Bulk Updates, Dashboards and Reports Contribute to test planning, perform unit testing, and support system testing activities Showcase sprint outcomes to business owners and senior stakeholders Support production releases, including out‑of‑hours activities when required Required Knowledge & Frameworks Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) Information Security Manual (ISM) Essential Eight Strategies National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), including NVD concepts (CVE, CPE, CWE, CISA‑KEVC) Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience developing and configuring solutions on Archer IRM, preferably across: IT Security Vulnerabilities Program IT Risk Management Issues Management Strong experience designing data models and managing API‑based integrations Experience working in Agile delivery teams using tools such as JIRA Demonstrated ability to apply cyber security frameworks in solution design and delivery Experience reconciling and performance‑tuning large datasets (tens of millions of records) Strong experience managing complex system integrations across multiple platforms Desirable Experience Fresh setup and configuration of Archer IRM environments Experience configuring Advanced Workflows within Archer Strong capability with Dashboards, Reports, and Bulk Updates Experience integrating Archer with multiple upstream and downstream systems Please reach out to me at anna.joseph@hudson.com Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Hudson Hudson is committed to helping you find a workplace where you feel respected, supported, and free to thrive.
