Whats the role
We're looking for an Executive Manager Quality to lead a team of Quality Assurance professionals and oversee QA controls and processes for mortgage operations across first and third-party lending. This is a permanent full-time role based in Adelaide.
You'll drive strategies that strengthen compliance, uplift operational capability and improve customer and lender outcomes. This role involves partnering with senior stakeholders across Mortgages, Risk, Compliance and Distribution to deliver insightful reporting, reduce error rates and embed a strong risk culture.
You'll also lead initiatives to refine QA frameworks, manage SLAs and KPIs and expand third-party capabilities for greater efficiency. This is a leadership role with strategic impact combining operational discipline, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.
To succeed in this role you'll need :
Extensive experience in Quality Assurance or similar senior roles within financial services.
Strong understanding of APRA prudential requirements (APG 220, APG 223), Privacy Act and Banking Code of Practice.
Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver strategic initiatives.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Relevant tertiary qualifications.
Knowledge of mortgage credit policy and QA frameworks.
Experience in change-management process optimisation and third-party provider management.
