* Base Salary $126,065 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
As an Analyst in this role, you will be a key member of the Privacy Resilience Program team, contributing insights and identifying solutions to progress the objectives of the program. This program is responsible for reviewing the way that the University collects, stores and manages sensitive personal information.
In this role you will be responsible for working with different areas across the University to reduce data risk by removing supplicate and legacy data, identifying opportunities for process improvement and improving privacy practices.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
* drive engagement with key clients, stakeholders and third parties to deeply understand, analyse, and define business data flows
* facilitate the identification of privacy issues in the existing process, identify mitigation strategies and potential solutions that contribute to reducing the ongoing privacy risk
* identify approaches or models for data analysis that supports the prioritisation of activities to address highest risk areas
* create, refine, and maintain clear documentation and records capturing high-level business processes, and revised approaches to address privacy concerns
* build, develop and maintain excellent professional working relationships with University stakeholders to facilitate the rapid implementation of change.
About you
* demonstrated customer service ethos, stakeholder management and communication skills
* identifying and understanding complex business processes and data flows
* demonstrated highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to critically evaluate and analyse complex information and data in order to resolve issues
* keen eye for process improvement with strong negotiation skills
* previous experience within a tertiary education environment
* resilient in the face of setbacks and challenges
* proven experience in business process analysis or design.
