About the Role
We're looking for a proactive, driven and curious Broker Engagement Consultant to join our national Sales & Distribution team.
You'll be the first point of contact for new broker recruitment leads — responding quickly, qualifying effectively, and creating an exceptional early experience for prospective brokers prior to handing over to our sales team (Partnership Managers).
This is a fast‐paced role where you'll use automation, digital tools and CRM workflows to lift broker experience and improve efficiencies and conversion. You'll also play an important part in building and refining workflows and triage processes with the help of AI and that support AFG's broader recruitment strategy.
What You'll Be Doing
* Respond to inbound recruitment leads within 30 minutes of receipt during business hours.
* Qualify and nurture early‐stage broker prospects using structured frameworks and scripts.
* Build, refine and support AI enabled workflows, bots and automation that enhance triage and recruitment processes.
* Maintain accurate, rich and complete data in our CRM (HubSpot).
* Provide insight-driven handovers to Partnership Managers to improve conversion outcomes.
* Partner with Sales Ops, Marketing and Technology teams on automation improvements.
* Support digital engagement, outreach lists, campaigns and recruitment projects.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of triage operations and digital processes.
* Perform any additional duties as required to support the broader Sales and Distribution team in achieving its recruitment objectives.
* Represent AFG with professionalism, integrity and a strong customer first mindset.
