The Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager of Training and Development, you will be the vital link between our apprentices, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), and Host Employers. This is a multifaceted role that combines high‐level coordination with "boots on the ground" mentorship.
Our mission is to deliver industry‐leading training that empowers people with the skills, confidence, and innovation needed to thrive in a dynamic workforce.
Your core responsibilities include:
* Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate the selection of new apprentices and manage their integration into the business, including contracts and training plans.
* Training Coordination: Build strong relationships with RTOs and trainers to monitor individual competency progress and schedule off‐the‐job training.
* Field Mentorship: Conduct onsite visits and performance reviews to provide ongoing support and pastoral care.
* Operational Excellence: Collaborate with host employers on rotation schedules to ensure apprentices gain diverse and appropriate skill exposure.
* Safety & Compliance: Champion a "Safety First" culture by auditing site documentation and ensuring all training and licensing remain compliant.

Key Requirements:
* Industry Foundations: Significant hands‐on experience in the trade, electrical, or construction sectors.
* Safety Qualifications: A Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is mandatory.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Mobility: A current Driver's Licence to facilitate site visits.
