**Job Description**
We are seeking an Associate to join our Global Investment Banking coverage team, where you will play a critical role in transaction execution, marketing and client coverage initiatives. You will also contribute to driving the culture, strategy and growth of the business.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Participate in the full cycle of transactional execution, including preparing marketing pitches, reviewing financial analysis and presenting internal and client presentations.
2. Lead the implementation of the execution function, working with analysts and assisting more senior bankers.
3. Demonstrate strong analytical, modelling, writing and presentation skills.
4. Show knowledge of global and Australian sectors and collaborate with colleagues across JP Morgan's platform and Australian product groups.
5. Be highly motivated, enthusiastic, proactive and aligned with J.P. Morgan's growth aspirations.
6. Contribute to the development and learning of analysts in the Global coverage group and Australian product groups.
**Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:**
1. Prior experience in investment banking and knowledge of products and services provided.
2. A well-rounded academic background from a top-tier educational institution.
3. Strong financial modelling skills.
4. General understanding of M&A and capital markets transaction cycle and processes involved.
5. Impeccable communication skills to interact with senior professionals, clients and stakeholders in other product groups.
6. Proactive, highly motivated and committed with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
