Business Analyst (Learning Management System)
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the early stages of a Learning Management System (LMS) project. This contract role will focus on the discovery and planning phases, working closely with HR and Operations to define requirements and map processes for a solution that will underpin both internal and external training initiatives.
The key details of the role are as follows:
- 2-Month CONTRACT with potential extension
- Hybrid working arrangement (Northern Suburbs, Perth)
- Daily rate: $900 (inc. Super)
Role Overview
This contract role will involve collaborating with HR, Operations, and other key stakeholders to capture and document business requirements, conducting workshops and process mapping to define the scope and future state of the LMS solution, and assisting in the preparation of a strong business case to support investment and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with HR, Operations, and other key stakeholders to capture and document business requirements.
- Conducting workshops and process mapping to define the scope and future state of the LMS solution.
- Assisting in the preparation of a strong business case to support investment and decision-making.
- Contributing to solution evaluation, supporting the RFP process, and helping identify a suitable implementation partner.
- Providing guidance for future delivery and implementation planning, scheduled to commence in FY27.
- Preparing explicit documentation and reports to ensure alignment across business and technical teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with hands-on involvement in LMS implementation projects.
- Strong background in discovery, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement across HR and operational teams.
- Skilled in business case development and supporting procurement/RFP activities.
- Ability to map complex processes and translate requirements into actionable outcomes.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
