About This Opportunity This role plays a key part in supporting the Business School’s Teaching and Learning portfolio, providing high-level administrative support to the Director & Deputy Directors of Teaching and Learning, and Program/Major Convenors. You will contribute to the smooth and effective delivery of teaching and learning initiatives, working closely with academic leaders in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities will include: Provide high-level administrative support to the Director and Deputy Director/s of Teaching and Learning, including managing communications and coordinating activities. Coordinate data collection, reporting, and the preparation of the monthly Teaching and Learning Newsletter. Act as a key point of contact for Program and Major Convenors, triaging enquiries and supporting effective communication across the School. Organise meetings, workshops and events, ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures, including travel and hospitality requirements. This is a full-time (100%), fixed-term position for up to 8 months HEW Level 5. About You We are seeking a capable and collaborative professional who brings strong organisational expertise and a proactive approach to supporting senior stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of (or ability to quickly learn) UQ Teaching and Learning systems and processes Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with experience supporting senior leaders in a complex environment Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail The ability to use initiative, manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of relevant pre-employment checks, which may include verification of the right to work in Australia, criminal history checks, and other role-specific requirements.
