We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to take full responsibility for the set-up, operation and ongoing management of a warehouse facility based in Raceview. This role suits a highly organised, detail-driven professional who thrives on structure, systems and operational efficiency.
This is a key leadership role offering the opportunity to take ownership of warehouse operations and drive performance through strong systems and processes. This is a full time and ongoing opportunity for the right candidate after a short Labour Hire probationary period.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance;
* Develop, implement and refine systems and processes to improve workflow and stock control;
* Manage order planning, demand forecasting and inventory levels;
* Lead procurement and ordering, ensuring stock availability and cost control;
* Implement and manage Warehouse Management Systems (WMS);
* Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all warehouse functions;
* Manage staff performance, workflows and operational standards;
* Ensure compliance when handling restricted items.
Additional Requirements
* Proven experience running, setting up and operating a warehouse;
* Strong warehouse management and leadership experience;
* High-level computer literacy, including WMS and inventory systems;
* Experience in procurement, ordering and demand forecasting;
* Current forklift licence;
* National Police Check required (due to restricted items handled).
Please note our positions are not just "Forklift Operating"- there will be a requirement that you will also assist in other facets of the business i.e.: manual handling, picking pack and general warehouse duties
