You will craft clear, compelling, member-first content across digital and traditional channels.
You will combine creativity with expertise in SEO and AI content optimisation to reach the right audiences and connect with members, employers and advisers.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Experience, you will shape integrated communications that strengthen our brand, boost engagement and drive growth.Key responsibilitiesContent Creation & SEO Optimisation: Create clear, engaging member-first content across web, email, social media, video scripts and print.
Translate complex superannuation topics into simple language.
Use keyword research to shape content strategy and align with user search intent.
Optimise copy with on-page SEO and AI content optimisation, including metadata, internal linking and structured content.
Create a roadmap for content optimisation and strategy, engaging stakeholders and guiding improvements.Search Strategy & Execution: Support development and execution of on-site content strategies.
Monitor search engine algorithm updates and adjust as needed.
Ensure compliance with SEO best practices, including Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.Campaign Support & Collaboration: Partner with Brand, Acquisition, and Engagement teams to develop campaign content aligned with NGS's tone, values and objectives.
Support digital and content marketing across the member journey, from acquisition to retention.
Coordinate with external agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver effective, search-optimised communications.Performance & Analytics: Use tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console to analyse content performance.
Support reporting dashboards and use performance data to refine content.QualificationsTertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related discipline.5+ years' experience in SEO copywriting, ideally within superannuation, finance, or professional services.Deep understanding of SEO and AI content optimisation fundamentals, keyword strategy, metadata, and content structuring.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Familiarity with analytics tools: Google Analytics, Search Console, Screaming Frog, etc.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.A working knowledge of HTML/CSS or experience with content management systems is an advantage.DesirableKnowledge of (or prior experience in) the superannuation industry.Benefits & requirementsWe are a national super fund with an exceptional work culture, offering a diverse development path and benefits including additional leave entitlements and health & wellbeing programs.
