NTBA is a Darwin-based company specialising in bituminous sealing. As part of a leading global road surfacing group, they have a strong track record of delivering high-quality road surfacing projects across the entire Northern Territory.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Spray Sealing Crew Member to join our dynamic team in Darwin. While the position is based out of our Darwin depot, travel will be required to all parts of the NT.
Reporting to the Spray Sealing Supervisor, you will be responsible for undertaking various roles within the crew, you will have experience in tasks such as ground support, roller operation, cover truck operation.
The role requires an individual with flexibility to work overtime, weekends and travel to remote locations.
Key responsibilities & requirements:
* Operating mobile plant and equipment (Cover Truck, Broom & Roller).
* Loading and unloading of plant & equipment.
* Drive heavy vehicles to and from projects.
* Conduct spray sealing applications in accordance with quality requirements.
* Keep the work environment clean and safe by ensuring all plant, equipment, and the work site are thoroughly cleaned and organised.
* Perform maintenance tasks as directed.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company standards.
* Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
* Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude.
* Enjoy working in the outdoors.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Experience in the spray sealing industry or hold transferable skills.
* Current drivers licence – HC truck licence or above – preferred.
* Road train driving experience, and a Dangerous Goods licence are advantageous.
* Hold a Construction Induction Card (White Card)
* Plant Competency tickets (e.g. Cover Truck, Broom & Roller) are highly desired.
