About the Role
At our school in Leeds, we offer a safe and supportive environment for pupils aged 5 to 18.
Key Responsibilities
* Mentor and support individual pupils or small groups.
* Collaborate with Classroom Teachers during lessons.
* Monitor pupil progress, report concerns, and liaise with School staff.
* Supervise pupils outside of classroom time.
* Assist with lesson planning and preparation.
* Set work and mark assignments as needed.
* Foster positive relationships with pupils and drive learning outcomes.
Requirements
* Hold a strong basic education, ideally A-level, with GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics, and sound IT skills.
* Experience in a similar role, such as a Teaching Assistant.
* Previous experience working with pupils with SEMH within an Educational setting.
* Be confident in taking additional responsibilities.
* Skilled in behaviour management and techniques.
* Committed to professional development and willing to learn.
* Willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check prior to commencing work.
