Your new role
As an operator, your role will see you:
* Operating a minimum of a CAT 793 Haul Truck on site
* Operating Dozers, Graders, Water carts etc (if ticketed)
* Follow haul roads and site traffic rules
* Complete pre‑start checks on the truck
* Communicate clearly with dispatch and supervisors
* Load, haul, and dump material safely
* Report hazards and follow all safety procedures
* Monitor truck performance and report faults
* Work with other operators to keep production moving
* Handle changing weather and pit conditions safely
* Attend toolbox talks and required training
What you'll need to succeed
* Haul Truck RII Certificate
* Other Machinery RII Certificates - highly desirable (Dozer, Grader, Water Cart etc)
* Must have experience on a CAT 793 Haul Truck - MINIMUM
* Signed Training Transcript / LMS / Skills list by SSE or SSE Delegate
* Current Coal Board Medical & Standard 11
* Current Drivers Licence
* Ability to complete a pre-employment medical & police check
* Must be living in Rockhampton, Townsville or Cairns
* Have contactable references
