As a key representative of the company, you will be responsible for executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and meeting ambitious growth targets. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to gather field insights and share knowledge to drive product improvements and innovations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales & Customer Success Expertise: Value-based sales experience, with a strong history of creating opportunities, closing deals, and building lasting customer relationships. Strong understanding of post-sales value building and experience upselling to grow partnerships.
* Beef Industry Experience: Familiarity with beef operations and understanding of the unique challenges faced by farmers. Willingness to learn rapidly and adapt to new situations.
* Attitude: Proactive, results-driven individual who thrives under pressure. Authentic energy and passion for making a difference in the world.
* Territory Management: Ability to use critical thinking to manage a large territory with a balanced focus on sales and customer success. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Problem Solving & Collaboration: Resourceful and quick-thinking individual who can address challenges and drive solutions. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with others.
What Your Day Could Look Like
* Prospecting & Expansion: Sourcing new leads and opportunities through proactive outreach, referrals, industry events, and other channels. Managing the full sales pipeline from lead generation through to close.
* Hitting Sales Targets: Meeting high-growth sales targets by screening, qualifying, demonstrating the product, and successfully negotiating contracts with customers.
* Customer Account Management: Maintaining close relationships with customers to ensure their ongoing satisfaction, provide support, and address any challenges they face with the product. Ensuring a smooth handoff from sales to customer onboarding and deployment of the solution.
* Territory Ownership: Taking ownership of your territory and working with regional agricultural groups to foster deep relationships across the industry.
* Customer Onboarding: Assisting in owning the end-to-end customer experience during onboarding and deployment of the product. Ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
* Field Learnings & Feedback: Gathering customer feedback in your territory and sharing insights with the Support, Product, and R&D teams to drive product improvements and innovations.
* Collaborating with Support Teams: Partnering with the Support Team to resolve any issues your customers encounter quickly. Escalating problems as needed and ensuring that customers in your territory feel fully supported.
