Nurse Manager – After Hours Facility Manager

About the role
The After-Hours Facility Manager (AFHM) represents the Leadership Team after hours and is responsible for operational management of the Facility including patient flow, bed management and staffing. This role is a 12-hour rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
The AHFM is part of the Management Team supporting clinical staff in the planning, delivery and evaluation of integrated clinical care; ensuring clinical care for the patient within the service is safe, well managed and of the highest quality, linking effectively to the in-hours management team to ensure care provided is continuous. The position is also responsible for a broad range of Nursing and Midwifery matters as well as ensuring appropriate emergency responses after hours.
