Manager - Education and Engagement (358123) - Integrity CommissionIntegrity CommissionApplications must be submitted by Tuesday 07 October, 2025 11:55 PMTuesday 7 October, 2025 11:55 PM AESTAward/Classification:Tasmanian State Service Award - General Stream Band 7$129,302.00 to $136,089.00 per annumEmployment type:Permanent, full-timeRegion:SouthLocation:HobartA key objective of this position is to align all activities and outputs and maximise efficiencies within the Education and Engagement Unit.We work with public sector employees and officers to help them build ethical capability to prevent, detect and deal effectively with misconduct.This is achieved through engagement, education, research, development and coordination of ethics and integrity training, review of relevant policies and guidelines, and providing advice and assistance as required.The role is a key part of the Education and Engagement Unit, and you will be working as part of a small friendly team.We encourage applications from Indigenous Australians, people with disability, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, mature age workers and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTIQA+) people.The Integrity Commission supports reasonable adjustment requests in any stage of the assessment process to remove barriers and facilitate full participation in all aspects of employment for applicants with disability.

Talk to us about how this could work for you.Hours per fortnight73.50 hours per fortnight- versatile options available.DutiesManage all Education and Engagement Unit team members in the delivery of educative, misconduct prevention, communication and engagement, and advisory activities.
This includes ensuring that competing and conflicting business priorities are met within agreed timeframes with available resources.Oversee the Commission's stakeholder engagement and communications processes, both to support the delivery of education and training and raise awareness of the Commission's activities and role.Oversee, develop and manage implementation of the Unit's education curriculum.Lead the development and implementation of multi-disciplinary projects and programs within the Education and Engagement Unit to build ethical capability in the Tasmanian public sector.Establish and maintain productive working relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders and work collaboratively across the Tasmanian public sector to build ethical capability.Work collaboratively with management, peers and staff across the Integrity Commission in overseeing and managing Education and Engagement Unit outputs.
Work in conjunction with the Complaints and Oversight Unit to align workstreams and outputs.Undertake such other similar tasks as may be directed by the Director to support the achievement of activities of strategic and operational importance to the Integrity Commission.The Head of State Service has determined that the person nominated for this vacancy is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer.The following checks are to be conducted:Criminal activityA pre-employment check on any disciplinary or managerial action in any previous employment.A degree level qualification in a relevant discipline, with subsequent workplace experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education, and training.Download the Statement of Duties and any Associated DocumentsOnline applications are preferred, please select the 'ApplyNow' button.
