What can you expect as a Construction Project Engineer @Seymour Whyte?
As part of the Seymour Whyte teams, you will play a key role in supervising a specific worksite area while working closely with construction teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and more.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Project Delivery & Technical Support
* Track and report daily productivity.
* Support cost control, estimating, and programme updates.
* Manage work teams in the field.
Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ)
* Undertake all HSEQ responsibilities as defined in the Project's Management Plans
* Escalate any risks affecting safety, timelines, or costs.
* Monitor and ensure construction quality in line with method statements and ITPs.
Commercial & Procurement Activities
* Verify subcontractor claims and variations.
* Support procurement activities and follow governance and finance processes.
Compliance, Competency & Continuous Improvement
* Maintain required competencies through regular LMS updates.
* Comply with all SWC policies, procedures, and training.
* Keep knowledge current on legislation, standards, and industry practices.
