Job Opportunity:
At the heart of our hotel, a vital team member is needed to maintain the sparkle and shine of our kitchen. As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary department.
Responsibilities:
* Cleaning duties within the kitchen, food preparation areas, and back-of-house spaces.
* Maintaining cleanliness of pantries, fridges, freezers, and equipment.
* Ensuring all operating equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware are hygienically stored.
* Operating dishwashing machines according to manufacturer instructions.
* Assisting in food preparation as directed by the Executive Chef or supervisory team.
* Maintaining kitchens' cleanliness and tidiness according to current Health & Hygiene regulations.
* Supplying each outlet with sanitized clean and dry operational equipment.
* Counting, sorting, and preparing operating equipment as required.
* Properly disposing of garbage from all kitchen and back-of-house areas.
* Correct handling of chemicals and equipment as per manufacturers' instructions.
* Contributing to cost control through energy conservation and careful use of resources.
