The Package: $90,455.04 - $99,952.84 gross per annum + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 13 of the QPRC Salary System 2025).

In this role you will:
* Ensure the health and welfare of all animals by managing their intake, assessment, rehoming, timely veterinary care, and accurate record-keeping.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Animal Management Facility, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
* Coordinate, mentor, and provide ongoing support and training to both staff and volunteers.
* Respond to public enquiries and complaints professionally.
We are looking for someone who:
* Proven experience in handling animals while maintaining high standards of care and welfare.
* Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and regulations governing animal care, welfare and management.
* Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team to successfully complete goals within agreed timelines.
* Possesses the ability to deliver exceptional customer care and effectively resolve conflicts.
