Role Overview
Given our growth plans, we are looking for a motivated person to extend our presence across Melbourne/Victoria. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development APAC, and working with the Commercial team and potential partners, you will be 100% focused on new business development. Your mission will be to increase sales and market share in your designated territory. You’ll manage the entire sales process from prospecting to close with a primary outbound focus, using multi-channel outreach and product demos to illustrate how Fresha advantages partner businesses.
This is a fast-paced, autonomous role in a changing environment. There is currently no Fresha office in Melbourne, so you will be able to work from home or anywhere in Melbourne to fulfill your responsibilities.
What You Will Be Doing
- KPIs - Consistently achieve sales targets
- Outreach - Contact key decision-makers via phone, email and social touches to bring on new business in person or online
- Selling - Present, promote and sell products/services through product demos to prospective and existing partners
- Sales Cycle - Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to close
- Partnering - Perform cost-benefit and needs analyses with partners to align Fresha solutions with their objectives
- Collaboration - Work with other departments to ensure a seamless partner experience
- Market Trends - Provide feedback on ongoing industry trends
- Leads - Contact 100% of qualified inbound leads promptly and document outcomes in the CRM
- Business Partnering - Serve as a lead point of contact for partners on all commercial activities
What Are We Looking For?
- Experience - 1+ years of B2B sales with a proven track record
- Industry - Interest in selling to hair salons, beauty spas, barber shops and other self-care businesses
- Relationship Building - A true hunter and relationship builder
- Organised - Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
- Curiosity - Naturally curious with a desire to continually grow and develop

Interview Process
- Screen Call - Video call with APAC Talent Partner (30 mins)
- Skills & Experience - Video-call interview with Head of BD APAC (45 mins)
- Presentation - Video interview with Head of BD (APAC) (75 mins)
We aim to complete the interview process and provide feedback within 2 weeks. Applications are reviewed manually by our talent team; while we strive to assess within 7 days, volumes may extend this timeframe.
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 a year
