The Co-Group are seeking a motivated and organised Support Coordinator with proven experience and strong administrative and coordination skills to join our client's team in Tweed Heads. This role is full-time.

The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating supports, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring effective communication between clients, service providers, and internal staff. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.

Our client's team works with a high level of independence and flexibility. For onboarding and training purposes, new staff members will be required to work from the office full-time during the first few weeks. Following this period, the role will transition to a hybrid arrangement with a mandatory 2–3 days per week in the office and flexibility to work from home for the remainder of the week.

What we're looking for

* Minimum 2 years' experience in support coordination within the disability sector
* Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS and its participant-centered approach
* Understanding of the role of Public Trustee and the OPG, developing and maintaining a strong rapport
* Monitor/implement NDIS-funded supports to help participants achieve wellbeing & community participation goals
* Oversee participant assessments, care planning and referral responses
* Advocating for participant rights and decision-making control
* Understand and work within the Mental health sectors, including Health, Justice and Correction Services
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for participants
* Proficient in using technology and relevant software to maintain accurate records and reporting
* Preferred (but not essential) relevant tertiary qualification in a Human Services or Allied Health discipline (e.g., Social work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology)
* Willingness to travel to meet with participants in their homes or community settings.
