Lead Business Analyst - Cyber Security Project 05 May 2025SydneyContractCurrently recruiting for a hands-on Lead Business Analyst with strong BA foundations, who has worked on a couple of large-scale cybersecurity projects. You will join a dynamic, enterprise-wide NSW Government environment through to the end of the year. Extensions to follow. If you're just rolling off your first major cyber project, this one could also be for you.In this role, you will:-Lead the delivery of outcomes in a complex cybersecurity project in an enterprise-wide setting, working closely with diverse stakeholders.-Drive requirements elicitation and translation, ensuring business needs are clearly understood and documented.-Analyse cyber business requirements across a broad portfolio of initiatives, interpreting and translating analysis results into clear, concise technical specifications and documentation.-Apply contemporary business analysis best-practice frameworks into the program of work, including AGILE Best practices, BABOK, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (e.g., UML), and business architecture methodologies (BPM, CBM, capability mapping, etc.).Key Requirements:-Extensive, demonstrated experience in business analysis within a couple of complex cyber portfolios, ideally within government or large-scale enterprise environments.-Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives.-Proven ability to develop, implement, and embed consistent BA standards and best practices.-Experience advising and influencing executive management, ensuring strategic and enterprise objectives alignment.-Ability to drive process improvements and support transformational change initiatives.-Agile best practicesIf you're looking to take the lead on impactful cyber projects as well as others and help shape business outcomes in the NSW Government, I'd love to hear from you!Level 7, 341 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000
