The Roles and Key Duties
Curate an unforgettable and personalised service experience for our guests from start to finish;
Forge relationships with guests and locals to promote clientele loyalty & retention;
Maximise and identify opportunities to sell products & experiences that suit the needs of our guests;
Process payments accurately and efficiently. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and room charges according to hotel policies.
Ensure the restaurant is presented to a high standard at all times, oversee the setup and breakdown of dining areas, assist with the setup and service of special events, banquets, and private functions as needed;
Make sophisticated and complex drinks as and when required to cater to guests requests;
Have exceptional knowledge of all beverage products and brand available and have the ability to upsell, offering suitable beverage recommendations;
Ensure the bar is presented to an impeccable standard at all times;
Oversee the setup and breakdown of the bar, ensuring it meets hygiene and WH&S standards.
Provide menu recommendations and explain our food philosophy to our guests;
Provide food & beverage recommendations by identifying opportunities to upsell;
Attentively maintain an organised section, including multiple tables and service stations.
Essential criteria required to be considered
RSA certificate and competency card (essential)
Genuine passion for food and wine
Strong customer service skills, with a vibrant and outgoing personality
Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Reliable transport to travel to and from work
Experience in a high‑end bar environment with the ability to create classic and bespoke cocktails (bartender roles only)
Strong understanding of a sequence of service and the ability to hold and manage a full section (section waiter roles only)
Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art, with the ability to consistently deliver exceptional quality (barista roles only)
