About the Role
An exciting opportunity is now available within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network for a passionate and experienced Team Leader to guide our Cultural Healing Team. This role sits at the heart of our commitment to delivering culturally safe, responsive and empowering mental health care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
The Cultural Healing Team plays a vital role in supporting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander consumers to access culturally appropriate mental health services. The team provides culturally informed guidance to clinicians, ensures cultural practices are embedded across care pathways, and offers practical support to consumers and their kin. This includes connecting individuals with Aboriginal services, traditional healing pathways and interpreters where appropriate.
As Team Leader, you will oversee the coordination, leadership and line management of this multidisciplinary team. You will ensure continuity and quality of care, guide resource allocation and support the team to deliver culturally grounded, person‐centred services. Your leadership will help embed culturally respectful mental health care across NALHN in alignment with the Closing the Gap (CTG) framework and NALHN's Aboriginal Health Framework and Action Plan.
In addition to team leadership, you will provide direct, holistic support to Aboriginal mental health consumers, families and carers.

Eligibility – AHP4 Classification
To be eligible for this position at AHP4 classification, you must hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification for one of the following Allied Health disciplines working in the service, specifically:
* Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with Occupational Therapy Australia; or
* Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification recognised by the PsyBA and general registration with PsyBA and endorsed in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology, or Forensic Psychology area of practice. Must hold approved supervisor status with the PsyBA at all levels of supervision (primary and secondary); or
* Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
Eligibility – RN4 Classification
To be eligible for this position at RN4 classification, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practising certificate, enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or holds a qualification in mental health practice.

Salary (plus Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice benefits)
* AHP4 $118,887 - $129,427 p.a. (pro rata)
* RN4 $132,177 - $137,771 p.a. (pro rata)
Hours – Temporary Part‐Time, up to 12 months
* Working 22.5 hours per week (AHP4)
* Working 22.8 hours per week (RN4)
