An exciting permanent part-time opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, reliable and customer focused member to join our friendly team in the sterilising department at Pindara Private Hospital.
You will be a critical part of the surgical process, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment for both clinical departments and external customers.
* Work in conjunction with the Operating Theatre staff to provide timely sterile products, trays and equipment where applicable.
* Work efficiently with your team to manage pressing deadlines.
* Undertake some lifting and be able to be on your feet for the shift.
* Will include loan set position operations.
Key Skills And Experience
* Certificate III qualification in Sterilising Services (Desirable).
* Experienced CSSD technician.
* Positive outlook to collaborate effectively with the team.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
* Exceptional organisational skills.
* Strong knowledge of the principles behind AS 5369:2023.
* Ability to work Mondays and Fridays.
Remuneration
Wages to be decided + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
* Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months.
* According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
