Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and applying engineering techniques to improve operational efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
* Liaise with relevant departments to provide effective solutions
* Develop and execute operational and capital projects
* Analyse plant downtime events to identify root causes
* Evaluate and apply Health & Safety standards
* Monitor quality assurance of critical processes
* Achieve targets for defined sections of area budgets
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* At least 3+ years fixed plant experience in an Engineering and/or Projects role
* Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering
* Mining experience in hard rock applications
* Familiarity with Mines legislations and regulations
* Knowledge of computer management systems
* Strong planning, organisational, budgeting, scheduling and coordination skills
