**The Company**
Our client is a boutique law firm specialising in personal injury matters. They pride themselves on being a down-to-earth, friendly and progressive law firm dedicated to achieving exceptional results for their clients. As a direct result of growth they are currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join their small team. Free parking maybe arranged for the right applicant.
**The Role**
This is an exciting opportunity working 1:1 with a friendly and very approachable specialist personal injury lawyer working across a mixture of personal injury cases. You will become involved in many critical aspects of the clients file.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Working with solicitors to support them with a number of key clients
- Drafting correspondence including court, legal documents and general correspondence
- Preparing matters for conferences and hearings
- Delivering high quality, accurate work whilst managing deadlines and competing priorities
- Conducting legal research
- Providing a great level of care and support to clients in a professional manner
- Coordinating appointments for our lawyers, medico-legal appointments for our clients, conferences and mediations
- General administration
**Your profile**
To be considered for this position you should have:
- Ideally previous experience in a similar position
- High level written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Great organisational skills and a keen eye for details
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
