We're seeking an organised, hands‐on Operations Manager to keep our sheet metal roofing projects and logistics running efficiently.
This role oversees procurement, inventory, plant and equipment, material movement, and day‐to‐day team leadership.

About the Role
Reporting to the Director, you'll manage the procurement of sheet metal coil, raw materials, and consumables; oversee plant and equipment readiness; coordinate stock movements and deliveries; and support both workshop and onsite installation teams. You'll also guide a small operations team and maintain strong supplier and internal relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Forecast and order materials and consumables
* Maintain accurate stock levels, purchase orders, and delivery tracking
* Conduct stock checks, resolve discrepancies, and process flashing specifications
* Coordinate inspections, servicing, repairs, and compliance
* Maintain equipment records and allocation
* Oversee fuel handling, safety checks, and workshop readiness
Logistics & Distribution
* Plan and prioritise material movements
* Prepare picking lists and coordinate with workshop/project teams
* Schedule transport for fabricated items and site deliveries
About You
* Highly organised and detail‐focused
* Strong in communication and relationship building
* Experienced in procurement, inventory, or operations
* Familiar with coordinating tools, equipment, and logistics
* Safety‐driven with a proactive, problem‐solving approach
* Comfortable leading a team in a fast‐paced workshop or construction environment
* Experience in sheet metal fabrication, construction, or manufacturing is highly regarded.
