The Information Services Branch (INSB) consists of four Business Units as follows, the Data Management Unit, Freedom of Information Unit, Information Release Unit and the Records Management Unit.
The Policy, Planning, Audit and Training Officer is accountable to the Manager Information Services Branch for the provision of professional support in the areas of business planning, audit and risk management, policies and procedures and training and staff supervision.
Responsibilities include the co-ordination of Branch planning requirements, undertaking reviews and projects, preparation of/or reviewing Branch policy and other significant proposals, audit and quality assurance role and staff inductions. The incumbent also undertakes budget reviews, evaluation and report preparation as required and assists in the management of activities of Information Services Branch.
**Special Conditions**
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.
**Salary**
ASO5 - $85,790 - $95,413 per annum.
