Location: Brisbane International & Domestic Terminals

Salary: $80,000 + Superannuation + Incentives

The Gig

Ready to lead a retail operation at one of Australia’s busiest airports? We’re searching for a commercially sharp, people-first, sleeves-rolled-up Retail Sales Manager to take charge of a large-format retail business that blends premium product with fast-paced operations.

This is a rare opportunity to join a strong team, in a fast paced multi faceted environment that focuses on leadership, motivation and high energy. Complexity? Absolutely. Visibility? Huge. But so is the opportunity to make a real mark.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you’ll take full ownership of performance, and team culture across this high-profile, high-volume environment.

What You Will Be Doing

As Sales Manager at the Brisbane Airport store, you'll be at the forefront of a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment, leading a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results. Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving sales growth, motivating the team, and ensurig a seamless customer experience.

* Leading the daily operations of the store and driving sales against key performance targets including ATV, conversion, and passenger spend rate.
* Coaching, mentoring, and managing a diverse sales team to deliver exceptional customer service and meet individual performance goals.
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Visual Merchandising, Compliance, and HR to ensure operational excellence and brand standards are upheld.
* Monitoring sales trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for commercial growth.
* Maintaining a strong presence on the shop floor to lead by example and inspire a customer-first culture.
* Ensuring compliance with all safety, security, and company standards including inventory management, cash handling, and RSA protocols.

About You

You're a motivated, hands-on retail leader with a passion for delivering results through people. With a background in high-volume, customer-focused environments, you bring energy, resilience, and a strong commercial mindset to every shift. You thrive in fast-paced settings like airports and enjoy working with global brands and international customers.

* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a retail leadership role.
* Proven ability to drive sales performance and lead high-performing teams.
* Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to motivate and coach others.
* A focus on operational excellence with the ability to multitask, solve problems, and stay calm under pressure.
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
* A current RSA certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
