Come and work with Majestic Hotels & Apartments, South Australia's largest boutique, locally owned and operated accommodation group comprising of six properties located throughout Adelaide, North Adelaide and regional South Australia.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Officer/Handyperson to join our dynamic team at our premium M-Suites property in beautiful North Adelaide (91 rooms). In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our high-end facilities and equipment to an exceptional standard, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and outstanding stay.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll use your strong maintenance skills to help keep the property looking its best. You'll be confident working independently, while also contributing to a supportive and dedicated team that values high standards, dependability, and a strong sense of teamwork.
About the role
* Complete high-quality maintenance and repairs across luxury suites and public areas
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimise disruption to guests
* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to protect asset presentation
* Perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting works within licence requirements
* Ensure all areas meet safety, quality and WHS standards
* Coordinate with external contractors for specialist repairs and services
About you
* Proven experience in hotel maintenance or similar role
* Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
* Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
* Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise tasks
* Relevant certifications (e.g.) electrical or plumbing) are a plus, but not essential
* Physically fit – good physical fitness and strength
* A current driver's licence
* A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain
