About The Role
The Wells Materials Coordinator will provide advice on all matters relating to wells material procurement and inventory management, and act as a subject matter expert on the relevant procurement and inventory governance, workflows, processes, and software systems.

Indicative Term of Contract: 12 months
Tentative Start: Feb 2026
Work Schedule: 5/2 (9 hours) – ad hoc travel to Dampier for annual stock take
Qualifications/Requirements
* Must have: ERP Inventory Management Experience, Warehouse process experience, Technical Material Management
* Nice to have: JDE ERP Experience and Drilling and Completion Material Knowledge
Position Description / Responsibilities
* The position will provide direct support for the Chevron Wells Engineering and Operations teams (Onshore and Offshore) and act as a Wells focal point for all drilling, intervention, completion, and P&A materials management. A Wells Engineer for a specific project will be responsible for providing the scope of material supply, supplier proposals / quotations, required delivery timing and technical specifications.
* Support the Wells team in managing the process forward from material purchasing, through manufacturing and delivery tracking and to inventory management at the warehouse or pipe yard.
* Support for management of eventual material disposal or replacement as necessary. Logistics and material movement responsibilities (onshore & offshore) remain with the SCM Logistics team; however the Wells Materials Coordinator should be closely connected and aware of all material movements.
* To enable effective materials procurement and management in support of Offshore and Onshore Wells projects, the role must be capable of engagement with multiple stakeholders throughout the entire Business Unit.
* Strong working relationships and communication skills are essential with functional representatives from Wells, SCM (Logistics, Materials, Contracts & Procurement teams), Finance, Commercial, Asset team, and Operations.
