A leading Telehealth consult provider is seeking expressions of interest through Skilled Medical from Specialist GPs and doctors (PGY4+) to join their growing virtual telehealth network. This service offers flexible hours, competitive rates and the ability to supplement your existing clinical work.
* Conduct virtual consultations for patients across a wide range of general medical services
* No requirement to prescribe Schedule 8 medications
* Average consultation length is 5 to 10 minutes, with most doctors seeing 6 to 8 patients per hour
* Minimum commitment of 10 hours per week (6 hours per week for FRACGPs/FACRRMs)
* Shifts are available in 2-hour minimum blocks with rosters provided 4 weeks in advance
* Weekend availability is highly valued
* FRACGP or PGY4+ doctor (especially with primary care, internal medicine or ED experience)
* Current AHPRA registration
* Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
* Ability to work independently in a telehealth environment
The Package
* GP Registrars and PGY4+ doctors: 60% of billings weekdays, 70% weekends
* Patient consult fee is $49
* Potential earnings of $180 to $220+ per hour depending on experience and shift times
* Supported by senior doctors, legal experts, governance professionals, admin and IT teams
* Extra professional indemnity insurance included (covers cybersecurity)
