**Junior SOC Analyst / Cyber Security Analyst

Training & Certifications**
We're partnering with a growing cyber security provider to hire a Junior SOC Analyst to join their Security Operations Centre. This is a true entry-level SOC role, ideal for someone early in their cyber career, coming from an internship, graduate program, or IT support background.
You'll be supported by experienced analysts, receive structured training, and gain hands-on exposure to real-world security incidents in a 24/7 SOC environment.
What you'll be doing
* Monitoring and triaging security alerts
* Assisting with security incident investigations
* Logging, documenting, and escalating incidents
* Supporting phishing investigations and security events
* Learning SIEM and security tooling under guidance
* Working closely with senior analysts and engineering teams
Who this role suits
* Junior SOC Analysts (6-12 months experience)
* Cybersecurity or IT graduates
* Internship candidates looking to move into a permanent SOC role
What we're looking for
* Exposure to cybersecurity concepts or SOC environments (commercial, internship, or training)
* At least
one Microsoft certification
(AZ-900, SC-900, AZ-104, or similar)
* Basic understanding of cloud or Microsoft environments
* Comfortable working
rotating 12-hour shifts
* Melbourne-based candidates (remote role with local team alignment)
This role operates within a 24/7 SOC environment, with
planned 12-hour rotating shifts
