The role of Senior Urban Designer plays a pivotal part in shaping the strategic direction of urban design projects, public domain plans and place-based initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to integrate urban design principles into planning policy, development assessment and infrastructure delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
 * Manage the preparation of comprehensive urban design plans, policies and strategies that align with organizational goals.
 * Collaborate with colleagues to assess Planning Proposals and Development Applications, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
 * Provide specialist technical knowledge and advice for inclusion in reports, further solidifying your expertise in the field.
 * Develop master plans and 3D modeling solutions for key sites and precincts, showcasing your creative vision.
 * Contribute to the review of critical policy documents, including local environmental plans, strategic plans, development control plans, and housing strategies.
 * Engage actively in community processes, fostering open dialogue and collaboration.
Requirements:
 * Degree qualification in architecture or landscape architecture, preferably complemented by a postgraduate degree in Urban Design.
 * Eligibility for professional accreditation through relevant organizations.
 * A minimum of 10 years' experience in urban design, architecture, or urban planning, with a strong focus on project management and consultant coordination.
 * Proficiency in a broad range of software tools, including CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.
 * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, essential for effective collaboration within the team.
 * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a cohesive unit.
