Our company, founded in 1999, is a national leader in the temporary fence industry and is expanding into hoarding, site cameras, traffic, safety equipment, portable toilets & showers, signage, ground protection, crowd barriers and more. You will drive the business forward with your commercial acumen and warehousing expertise.
Your new role: Reporting to the General Manager of Operations, you will work Monday to Friday, typical hours 7am–3pm. You will transform the current manual operations into automated, smart and strategic bin locations across nine locations (Perth, SA, Auckland, NSW, QLD) and oversee local yard logistics. Your key responsibilities include:
* Achieve standardisation of processes nationwide.
* Assess current WMS across all branch/warehouse networks.
* Improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
* Collaborate with Senior Management and state‐based leadership teams.
* Ensure absolute compliance of OH&S and maintain high regulatory signage standards.
* Manage project, inventory, order fulfilment and meet stringent delivery times.
* Provide proactive and reactive management of national challenges and workflow problems.
* Coordinate smoothly with Procurement & Logistics teams.
* Maintain high‐standard staff training, particularly for new roll‐outs.
* Demonstrate strong people‐management capabilities to foster high performance.
Your background and qualifications:
* 10+ years in a National Warehouse Management role at a similar scale.
* Proven experience in rolling out automation, bin‐location strategies and streamlining national operations.
* Strong people‐management experience with large, remote staff teams.
* Ability to travel interstate and locally for support sites.
* Exposure to warehousing technologies and overarching supply‐chain systems.
* Experience working with 3PLs and negotiating operational improvements.
* Ability to oversee forecasting, budgets and reporting with the Operations Manager.
* Commitment to OH&S, first‐aid training and other relevant certifications.
* Willingness to work overtime and remain flexible as transformative changes occur.
