Lead Pastor for Secondary Wellbeing
As Lead Pastor for Secondary Wellbeing, you will provide inspirational leadership to develop and implement a holistic wellbeing framework that supports the spiritual, emotional, and social growth of students in Years 7–12.
* Develop and lead the implementation of a wellbeing framework that reflects our Christian ethos, promoting resilience, identity, relationships, and values.
* Collaborate with Year Coordinators and the Chaplain to ensure a consistent, relational approach to pastoral care and behaviour management.
* Oversee wellbeing initiatives, restorative practices, and behaviour management processes that foster a safe and supportive learning environment.
* Guide staff in managing student wellbeing and behaviour with empathy, consistency, and care, supporting them in their roles as mentors and role models.
* Establish strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and external support services to ensure seamless support for students.
* Design and refine wellbeing and mentoring programs that promote academic achievement, social skills, and character development, aligning with our College's Christian values.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development of wellbeing policies and procedures that align with our College's strategic goals.
* Provide coaching and mentoring to staff to enhance their skills in pastoral care and wellbeing.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellbeing initiatives, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
* Collaborate with teachers to integrate wellbeing into curriculum design and delivery, fostering a culture of holistic learning.
* Represent the College at relevant professional networks and conferences, staying abreast of best practices in secondary wellbeing.
