About the role and team
We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Clerk to join our Office Services team, onsite in Perth.
As a Service Clerk, you will provide a high level of customer service to employees and partners within the firm in a timely and professional manner. Responsibilities include front of house (reception), catering, and office management.
You will be responsible for:
General Office
Opening, sorting, and distributing incoming mail
Coordinating and processing outgoing mail
Booking couriers
Banking as required
Photocopying, scanning, and binding documents
AV – Assist with meeting room setup during client meetings and events – Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex
Maintaining utility points and kitchens
Fire Warden – Attend quarterly fire warden training and act as warden during annual evacuation exercises
Backup to Reception
Events - Assisting with room setup, decorations, furniture repositioning, flower pickup, setting out glasses and serveware
Court Work
Settlements – Liaising with lawyers, attending settlements, and dealing with banking requirements
Subpoenas and Undertakings/Access Request Forms – Liaising with lawyers, maintaining records, lodging court documents, and attending court
eCourt Work – Litigation searches, document searches, eLodgement
Delivering legal documents to Chambers and Courts
About you
You will ideally have the following skills and experience:
1-2 years’ experience in an office or professional services environment
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Reliable with a 'can do' attitude and proactive approach
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously
Team player with a flexible approach
Strong IT skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to work under pressure during peak times
Proactive approach with the ability to prioritise
Client-focused with strong organisational skills
