This role will be a *****, day shift only roster, FIFO out of Perth.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain gas reciprocating engines and power generation equipmentOperate instrumentation and process control systemsUndertake routine inspections and maintenance on the power station ancillary equipmentMonitor power station operations via SCADA and other software-based systems, ensuring that the site is operating as required, including identifying any short- or long-term plant reliability issues, or improvement opportunities that may be presentUndertake typical housekeeping dutiesMaintain stock inventorySupervise and support other MRL employees and/or contractors conducting works within the power station, ensuring MRL HSE policies and procedures are being adhered toParticipate in On Call activities when rostered on site, ensuring prompt response is given to any issue that may arise after hoursConduct routine maintenance to site assets as and when requiredWhat is requiredDemonstrated commitment to safetyAbility to work autonomously in remote location areasExtensive experience and sound knowledge of power systems and control circuitryPrevious experience in running and maintaining Gas reciprocating enginesA high standard of fault finding and trouble-shooting abilityAustralian or Australian recognised mechanical trade qualificationCurrent Australian Driver's LicenseHRWL (DG, RB, CN, WP) (highly desirable)Construction Induction CardWorking at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Testing (desirable)Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)Ability to meet pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening requirements.About Our ProcessAt Mineral Resources, we are committed to employing individuals who align with our values and meet the requirements of the role.
