Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with our Engineering Director and Project Managers to develop precise mechanical engineering designs, plans, and drawings.
* E nsure designs adhere to specifications, standards, regulations, and contractual requirements.
* Precise estimation of manufacturing costs (material and labor) is necessary to ensure project alignment.
* Detailed analysis and diagnosis of manufactured items, including comprehensive repair procedures.
* Comprehensive engineering calculations and detailed reports are crucial to our operations.
* Lead the preparation and issuance of critical engineering release and change documentation.
* Development and oversight of test documentation, actively participating in testing activities.
* Maintaining organized design and report records in accordance with our company's procedures and policies.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of engineering with 4+ years of experience in CAD software.
* Proficiency in Autocad, Solidworks, and essential design tools is required.
* Expertise or proficiency in Cosmos FEA is essential, showcasing advanced engineering analysis skills.
* Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical design, encompassing sizes, fits, tolerances, material selections, and treatment processes, along with knowledge of mechanical and basic electrical control systems.
* Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, including welding, machining, and fitting & assembly, is highly desirable.
