Seeking a Metal Machinist/CNC Press Brake Operator to operate CNC press brake machines, select tooling, and interpret technical drawings.
* Operate CNC press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal into specific shapes.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine correct production components.
* Inspect finished parts for dimensional tolerances and quality standards.
* Maintain press brake machines and tools with preventive maintenance.
* Execute precision machining tasks such as drilling, cutting, turning, facing, and thread chasing.
* Load and unload material onto the press brake machine.
* Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations.
* Optimize production output while maintaining quality standards.
Key Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED; trade qualifications in machining desirable.
* At least 2 years of experience as a CNC machine operator, metal fabrication, machining, or related field.
* Proficient in reading engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
* Strong understanding of CNC machine operation desirable.
* Meticulous and detail-oriented with good physical condition.
* Experience with manual lathe machining; familiarity with other CNC machinery desirable.
* Effective communication skills and ability to work individually and within a team.
