ACCOUNT MANAGER - QUARRY PRODUCTS SALES SEQ
Barro Group is seeking to engage an Account Manager to maximise sales opportunities in the Brisbane/SEQ region.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively source new business
* Grow the business through converting leads into sales
* Manage customer accounts through the retention and generation of revenue
* Respond to all sales and customer service enquiries in a timely, professional and accurate manner, via face to face, telephone and other electronic means
* Develop good working relationships with both internal and external contacts.
Key Skills, Experience and Attributes
* Extensive experience in sales of quarry products / other construction materials essential and highly desirable
* Previous cold calling experience
* An established network of contacts would be highly desirable
* Can demonstrate ability to build successful relationships with people at all levels
* An energetic and competitive personality and self‑motivated to succeed
* Preparedness to work the hours that suit customer and business requirements including some Saturdays
* Persistent, reliable, honest and trustworthy
* The capacity to work with and report on agreed budgets
* Has a high degree of initiative and is comfortable working alone and spending the majority of their time on the road.
