Personal Care Attendant - Glengowrie Estate Retirement VillageEmployee wellness programs, EAP, Training & morePersonal Care Attendant – Glengowrie Estate Retirement VillageWe are currently looking for an experienced Personal Care Attendant to join us on a casual basis at our Glengowrie Estate Retirement Village.This casual position plays a pivotal role, prioritising the well-being of our residents above all else.We are seeking a motivated person to make a positive impact, become part of our close-knit team, and embrace the chance to support and comfort our residents.Shifts are either 7am to 2pm or 2pm to 9pm, followed by a sleepover.The positionReporting to the Village Manager, you will be responsible for:Assisting and supporting residents in their daily activities, including tasks like continence management, showering, dressing, and personal grooming.Assisting in the daily preparation, service, and delivery of meals and functions to our residents.Ensuring residents receive their prescribed medications promptly and accurately.Managing laundry tasks for residents as required, maintaining their comfort and hygiene.Maintaining a clean environment for the residents, including common areas and amenities.We’re looking for someone with:Ability to do sleepover shifts.Demonstrated experience in the role and industry.Great communication skills, both written and verbal.Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.National Police Check (or ability to obtain).First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain).Ability to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment, including Drug and Alcohol Testing.The wellbeing of all RetireAustralia team members is our priority.
