Job Requirements About you: As a result of our continued success, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team at the Gladstone Branch in a supervisory role. This position will see you leading a service crew that values your expertise and contributions, within a result-driven, family‑oriented, and committed team environment. The role is a permanent, full‑time position operating on a 5/2 roster, Monday to Friday, with no underground work, a minimum of 40 hours per week, and built‑in overtime opportunities. You will hold a Certificate III or IV in Polymer Processing (Belt Splicing) or bring equivalent industry experience, supported by a minimum of three years’ experience as a leading hand or supervisor within the mining sector or conveyor belt splicing services. You are comfortable working in high‑pressure environments with tight deadlines and consistently delivering strong outcomes. You can confidently identify common belt faults, assess issues, and determine the most effective repair methods. You engage professionally with stakeholders at all levels, demonstrating strong influencing and negotiation skills. A strong commitment to safety and quality underpins everything you do, and you communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with senior stakeholders and your wider team. Job Responsibilities Your role: Key responsibilities include, Supervising and leading service crews, including scheduling and overseeing conveyor installations, repairs, belt splicing, plant maintenance, and pulley change‑outs. Liaising with clients, key site personnel, and internal managers to ensure all work is effectively planned, accurately scoped, and executed to the highest standards. Assisting with quoting, job scoping, and technical troubleshooting to support efficient and successful job delivery. Providing visible and proactive safety leadership, ensuring compliance with all company, site, and quality requirements. Reviewing work requirements and coordinating labour and equipment utilisation to maximise efficiency and performance. Building, developing, and coaching the service team, fostering a strong safety‑focused and high‑performance culture. Monitoring team performance and job outcomes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Undertaking other duties as directed by the Service Manager. Job Benefits Why Join Fenner?
